Munduate, Iker

Sinkronia

Iker Munduate Thusberg returns with Sinkronia, a refined blend of Eastern and Western minimalism influenced by Steve Reich, Suso Saiz, and Midori Takada. The Basque multi-instrumentalist combines percussion, electric guitar, synths, and xylophone to create energetic, transcendental soundscapes. Now based in New York, Iker draws from his noise/punk and Free Jazz/Improv background, merging Italian avant-garde, Japanese New Age, and American Minimalism.
