Early version of `Mambo loco' recorded by Colombian accordionist and composer Aníbal Velásquez. An irresistible dancefloor anthem: raw, hypnotic, and percussive, driven by a powerful rhythmic background with an unmistakable Afro influence. On the flip side, we find one of the most iconic cumbias by Colombian group Afrosound, `Tiro al blanco,' here in the version by Peruvian group Los Continentales, fronted by superb guitarist Pancho Acosta.
